Riverside Avondale Preservation 36th Annual Tour of Homes
The Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP) is hosting its 36th Annual Tour of Homes on April 24 & 25th, 2010. Eleven businesses and residences will be open for guests to tour. This event is a fundraiser for RAP which is a private, non-profit membership organization with the desire to enhance and preserve architecture, history, cultural heritage and economic viability of historic Riverside and Avondale areas.
Hours for the tour begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and continue until 5 p.m. Sunday hours are noon until 5 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at various venues for $15 ($13 if you are a RAP member). Ticket vendors include: RAP office, Let Them Eat Cake, Fans & Stoves Antique Mall, Whiteway Deli, and Jacksonville Magazine. Tickets can also be purchased from each of the participating homes on the days of the event.
