THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP in Ponte Vedra
Need an excuse to get away for part of a day and enjoy the fabulous weather? Visit THE PLAYERS Championship at the TPC Sawgrass Players Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach! Starting this Thursday, you can watch world-class golfers, including local Ponte Vedra resident, Vijay Singh, compete for part of a $9.5 million purse.
Can’t make the competition rounds? Practice sessions start Monday, May 4th, and continue through Wednesday. Practice round tickets are $30 and competitive round tickets are still available for $75. Free parking and shuttle rides to and from the Stadium Course are offered from the University of North Florida. Parking is also located on State Road 210 for $25 per day or $75 for the week.
There’s no better way to enjoy the day than by strolling around the beautifully manicured, Pet Dye designed course and watching the treacherous 17th hole!
