The Jacksonville Beaches FIne Arts Series is hosting a concert this Sunday afternoon (February 13, 2011) at St. Paul's by the Sea Episcopal Church in Jacksonville Beach. The Beaches Fine Arts Series will be featuring Christopher Houlihan, an award winning organist and graduate of The Julliard School in New York. Houlihan is considered "one of the brightest stars in the new generation of American organists. The organ in St. Paul's is massive, the acoustics are wonderful and the performer is outstanding. The concert should be great and, believe it or not, it's free!
If you haven't been to a Beaches Fine Arts Series concert you're missing out on a wonderful venue. The performance start at 4:00 and there will be a reception and visual arts display immediately after the concert in the church's Parish Hall.

The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach kicked off its newest exhibit, Celebrate Art 2011, this weekend. Celebrate Art 2011 is the fourth annual juried member artist exhibition and will showcase the diverse talents of the Cultural Center's artist members. The exhibit will be on display through February 19th. The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach is a wonderful resource for residents of Ponte Vedra Beach. The Center provides a place to understand, experience and create art through exhibitions of local, regional and national artists in a variety of media; through exciting events for the community; and through quality arts classes, lectures and workshops.
