Our team lead, Lisa Barton, was featured on the podcast Real Estate Excellence hosted by Tracy Hayes. In this episode, Lisa discusses her experiences in the real estate market, serving as the leader of one of the top real estate teams in Northeast Florida. During their conversation, Lisa and Tracy touch on topics such as staying current on the market, establishing trust with clients, and providing outstanding customer service. Check out the segments below to hear more.
Lisa explains that one of the most important steps in working with customers is building trust. Clients must feel that they're being heard and their needs are being met. As an example of the high level of trust that exists between customers and the team, Lisa explains that team member Tonya O'Quinn sold multiple homes to people who had never seen the home they were purchasing in person. This was possible because Tonya went above and beyond with her clients, providing them with online tours and working out all the details, to make sure even a remote purchase went smoothly.
Touching more on the team, Lisa describes how collaboration contributes to success. She explains that everyone on the team is familiar with and contributes to every listing. Each agent has their own customer base and people they know that can garner more exposure to listings. The team dynamic also helps increase availability and responsiveness when it comes to meeting customer needs. In addition, whether buying or selling, access to the team, including support staff working hard behind-the-scenes, helps the process run easily and smoothly for customers.
As a part of the Keller Williams Realty Atlantic Partners umbrella, several members of the Lisa Barton Team recently attended the KW Family Reunion. Lisa describes how wonderful it was to be in the same space as KW agents from all over the nation, and world, after not being able to meet for several years. Team members were able to talk to agents from our "feeder markets" - places from which a high volume of people moving to Northeast Florida originate. The team gained insight into the experiences that these new residents had in their home markets. This knowledge helps the team understand more about their expectations for our local real estate market to better assist them as they transition.
Lastly, Lisa describes the high level of customer service that the team provides. She explains that, for high-end listings, there is a team member at every showing of that listing, even if another agent is working with the buyer. This service helps those that list with us because the team is available to answer any questions immediately. As another point of service, the team has compiled a list of trusted vendors. This helps ensure our clients have resources for any job they may need done to their home before selling or after buying.
