Boy, does time fly.
I can’t believe I am celebrating my 10th year with Lisa Barton. After one snowy winter in Northeast Ohio and a short flight to Florida, it changed the rest of my life. I took a huge leap of faith, and my husband and I moved our family to Florida, and it was the best decision ever!
Saturday, July 8th, marks the 10th anniversary of starting my real estate career. Lisa said it would be 15-20 hours a week. Oh, boy, was she wrong. I had no idea how much I would love this job, and it never felt like I was working. It has been the best career choice that I have ever made!
With my husband’s career, we were fortunate to live in different cities around the country. Then his job took us to Taipei, Taiwan, which was quite the adventure. After relocating six times, I began my love of real estate. Once moving to Florida, I considered going back into counseling or special education because I love helping people. I resisted a sales job, so that is not my approach in real estate. I do not sell real estate; I educate, consult, and assist clients with one of the most important purchases or sales in their life. My approach anticipates what they need before they even know they need it. With every move, I had to pick the right neighborhood, find the best schools, and figure out doctors, dentists, and most importantly, a hairdresser! Now I can pass my knowledge on to my clients. I try to make their transactions as seamless as possible.
I love what I do, and I love all the clients that I get to help. Over the past ten years, I’ve closed over $136 million for my clients. Most of those transactions are for repeat clients or people referred to me from past customers. Best of all, many of my you have become good friends over the years.
I am honored to work for one of the most respected real estate teams in Northeast Florida. The Lisa Barton Team and our amazing support staff make it a blast to do this work. You can frequently hear us laughing throughout the office. We are not only one of the best in the area, but we are a lot of fun to work with too. I hope one day I get to work with you to sell your home or help you find your next one!
Marsha Keller, an Ohio native, relocated to Ponte Vedra Beach a few years ago. Her snow boots are packed away and she does not miss those cold days of winter. Marsha and her family quickly adjusted to the beautiful weather in Northeast Florida.
