Marsh Landing Overview:

Marsh Landing's gated community is a highly sought-after community due to its lovely marsh views, overall natural beauty, amenities, and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway.

Founded in the 1980s, Marsh Landing remains a unique and impressive community with lovely homes, excellent facilities, proximity to the city of Jacksonville (just 20 minutes away), and access to the best St John's County public and private schools.

Marsh Landing Homes

Throughout the community, homes range in size from 2,000 to over 10,000 square feet. Most Marsh Landing homes are single-family and enjoy the water, golf, or beautiful marsh views.

Harbour Island is a smaller community within Marsh Landing with upscale, custom homes. Harbour Island is a boating community, and most residences have a boat dock in the backyard or a slip in the yacht basin. All private boat docks have easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway. Harbour Island also features many of Marsh Landing's most prestigious homes, some with expansive vistas of the waterway on lots of two or more acres.

There are two additional smaller communities within Marsh Landing: North Island with expansive marsh views and Clear Lake with most homes overlooking the marsh or preserve areas.

Marsh Landing Amenities:

Marsh Landing's community amenities are very family-friendly, with two large playgrounds, sidewalks on main roads, and 24-hour security. Additional amenities are associated with the Marsh Landing Country Club.

Marsh Landing Country Club

The Marsh Landing Golf Club is nestled in the middle of the community and offers a wide range of amenities and services. As a resident, membership is not required but is a nice optional benefit.

The Marsh Landing Country Club offers a large pool and neighborhood swim teams in the spring. Tennis courts and league tennis for men, women, and children are also part of the Country Club membership options.

The fitness center has a weight room and a variety of exercise classes. The excellent clubhouse has two dining rooms and additional space available for weddings, parties, and meetings.

There are several country club membership categories, including the following:

  • Standard Membership
    Full membership provides unlimited golf, tennis, fitness, swimming privileges, and Marsh Landing's clubhouse and dining facilities. Full golf members pay no green fees or court fees for tennis.
  • House Membership
    House membership allows you to pay as you play, so golf with green fees, unlimited usage of the driving range, tennis, fitness, swimming privileges, and use of the clubhouse and dining facilities.
  • Junior Membership
    If both spouses are under 45, junior membership to Marsh Landing provides a discounted fee on dues. Junior membership allows unlimited golf, tennis, fitness, swimming privileges, clubhouse, and dining. Junior members pay no green fees for golf or tennis court fees.
  • Non-Resident Membership
    This membership allows golf on a pay-as-you-play basis for those who reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the Club. Non-resident members will pay member's green fees for golf but no court fees for tennis.
  • Sports Membership
    The Sports Membership allows unlimited tennis with no court fees, fitness, swim privileges, dining, and the clubhouse.
  • Social Membership
    This membership provides unlimited use of dining facilities and social functions.

Marsh Landing Golf Course

Designed by Ed Seay of Arnold Palmer Course Design, Marsh Landing Country Club's private 18-hole, par 72 golf course is one of the best courses in North Florida. The course rating is 73.3 with a slope of 138 and ranges from 6,863 to 5,097 yards depending on the selected tees. Marsh Landing hosted the 1994 U.S. Amateur qualifier, the 2000 and 2001 U.S Open qualifier, and many other championships and invitationals. Travel and Leisure Magazine rates the course as #18 in Florida.

Marsh Landing Racquet Club

This members-only facility provides ten lighted Har-Tru clay courts and a professional pro shop surrounded by beautiful marsh and palm trees.

Ladies' tennis league play is provided throughout the week. Depending on your skill and commitment level, there are four different tennis leagues to choose from. In addition, there are also leagues for juniors, men, as well as mixed doubles.

Marsh Landing Fitness and Recreation

Marsh Landing's fitness facility provides numerous choices. Weekly classes are provided for spinning, aerobics, strength, and yoga. There's Life Fitness Machines, dumbells, cardio equipment, an aerobics room as well as a stretching area. Personal trainers are also available to help you meet desired health goals.

Other Marsh Landing Amenities

In addition to the Club, Marsh Landing features two neighborhood parks with playgrounds, soccer facilities, basketball courts, sidewalks that double as bike paths, and access to the Intracoastal Waterway from a number of estuaries, and from Harbour Island.

From I-95

  1. Take exit 344 to JTB (J. Turner Butler Blvd.) East;
  2. Take your first exit once past the Intracoastal Waterway (S. Beach Parkway);
  3. Make an immediate right on Marsh Landing Blvd by the Marsh Landing Business Park;
  4. Turn right into Marsh Landing Country Club community gate entrance;
  5. Follow Marsh Landing Parkway to first stop sign;
  6. The Marsh Landing Country Club facilities and parking lot will be on the right.

From A1A South

  1. Head north on A1A;
  2. Turn left at Ponte Vedra Lakes Blvd;
  3. Turn left into Marsh Landing Country Club community gate entrance;
  4. Follow Marsh Landing Parkway to first stop sign;
  5. The Marsh Landing Country Club facilities and parking lot will be on the right.

Schools for the Marsh Landing Neighborhood

Most of the homes in Marsh Landing are located in the St Johns County School District. Children attend Ponte Vedra/Palm Valley and Rawlings Elementary Schools, Landrum Middle School, and Ponte Vedra High School. There are also several highly rated private schools available in or near Ponte Vedra Beach.

Ponte Vedra Beach is also the home to several excellent private schools that range from nationally renowned academic and athletic powerhouses to small church-affiliated institutions. The larger private schools located in Jacksonville generally offer bus service to the Ponte Vedra Beach area.
